ALL IN!! JONI, LEONARD, DYLAN, AND SHERIDAN A Benefit Concert for Ukrainian Refugees
March 12 @ 8:00 pm - 10:30 pm EST$25
Songs of protest, songs of love. The Suzanne Sheridan Band will be playing the music of Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, and Bob Dylan in support of the Ukrainian people at Voices Café on Saturday, March 12 at 8:00 pm at The Unitarian Church in Westport. Doors open at 7:30. The concert will be both in-person and livestreamed.
We can’t help but believe that Joni, Leonard and Dylan would be on the musical frontlines opposing the war on Ukraine. While the times have changed, this music is as relevant now as it was in the 60s and 70s.
Voices Café’s proceeds will be directed to Save the Children to provide food, water, clothing, medical supplies, and emergency assistance to Ukrainian refugees entering Poland, Romania, and Lithuania. And since Save focuses on children, it’s also distributing toys.
With unforgettable, energetic, and musically compelling arrangements the band, with Bob Cooper on keyboards, Joe Meo on wind instruments, Jake Habegger on drums, and Suzanne Sheridan on guitar and vocals, will be performing their favorite songs from the Mitchell, Cohen, and Dylan songbooks for both the in-person and livestream audience.
Voices Café offers both individual seating as well as café-style (at tables) seating providing the audience the opportunity to bring snacks and beverages.
