Green Drinks: Authentic Relating Games

• What we’ll do
During such a politically divisive time, it’s more important than ever that we come together and see each other’s humanity. Authentic Relating Games help people shed feelings of separation and feel a profound connection to others. We hope you’ll join us at the next Green Drinks at the beautiful space at Hartford Flavor Company!
Authentic Relating Games is a collection of extensively tested, masterfully led experiences that gives players a hands-on taste of both the joy and skills of interpersonal connection.
Join us to:
-highlight and train body awareness
-create deep connection,
Participants will walk away with a profound sense of well-being and an experiential toolkit that they can use to make every part of their lives even better.
People are invited to start hanging out at Hartford Flavor Company at 6 pm. The Authentic Relating Games will be from 7 pm – 8 pm. And folks are welcome to continue hanging out until 9 pm. At 6:30 pm, we’ll be placing orders for food. If you’d like to order with us, please bring cash. Facilitator bios:
Kim Crowley is a training and dialogue consultant whose life goal is to help people hear each other. Her heart-felt hope is that when people are truly seen and heard, we open up space to build together in deeper connection. She brings skills in dialogue facilitation, workshop design and delivery, teaching, conflict management, Non-Violent Communication, activity-based therapies, writing, and a variety of methods for structuring conversations around things that matter. Values infused in her work include curiosity, perspective-taking, social mindfulness, managing bias, co-creation, and building clarity.
Kristen Larson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Tobacco Treatment Specialist, community organizer, Reiki practitioner, Cacao facilitator, Authentic Relating Games facilitator, and Creator of the Untold Stories Project. Her focus is on community connection, integrative and multicultural practice of compassionate healing and growth.
Green Drinks Hartford is a monthly happy hour, a chance for people to network, have fun, and discuss important issues of the day.
Admission to this event is free. Donations gratefully accepted to cover publicity costs.
