The Future of Health Care: The Promise of Clinical Trials in Advancing Cancer Care
December 3, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am ESTFree
The Future of Health Care Forum will examine the importance of cancer clinical trials and the key barriers that result in approximately 20% of cancer clinical trials never beginning due to lack of patient participation. Overcoming these barriers and increasing cancer clinical trial access to disparate populations will ensure that cancer research becomes more efficient, reducing the time and effort needed to translate basic science discoveries into meaningful therapeutic advances that benefit all patients. Forum participants will include key stakeholders throughout the oncology community, including leaders in science, health care systems, academia, patient advocacy, and public policy.
